The FireStorm 70 is the most advanced tactical firefighting boat in the world. It's a mobile command centre, a high-capacity pumping machine, a firehouse, and a primary patient care unit all in one package. The FireStorm 70 is a new generation in fireboat technology. It is a culmination of years of study and research into high volume pumping systems and their effects on a small boat's stability, controllability, dynamic loading and righting moments. The FireStorm 70 is a firehouse, a high speed mobile command centre, and a high-capacity pumping machine, all in one vessel. Four firefighting pumps can produce flow meter results of 14,000 GPM at 150 PSI and 17,000 GPM at 130 PSI and stream up to 450 feet with a roof mounted Stang monitor. As a shore hydrant, the FireStorm 70 can pump an impressive 7,000 GPM at 70 PSI through 1000 feet of hose from a 5" Storz outlet before staging pumps are required. Its cabin, galley, sleeping quarters, HVAC, and dual onboard generators enable the crew to stay on station for extended periods. The cabin includes a primary patient care berth with four secondary care berths in the forepeak. Portable berths for patient care can also be positioned in the aft cabin. Large side, aft and roof windows provide excellent all-round visibility and safety when working alongside other vessel or air units.
