The SANTANDER ROYAL YATCH CLUB requested our shipyard, Metaltec Naval the construction of a ship to take part in Santander 2014 Sailing World Championships as a RACE COMMITTEE boat approved by the ISAF (International Sailing Federation). The results are very satisfactory, recognized by the organization and by the international judges. The project involved the replacement of the mythical “JOSEFA” made of wood, which for more than 40 years, served this institution. Respecting its aesthetic, we achieved an attractive design of the new “GROUCHO”. Built in naval aluminum, incorporating the latest technology and with a equipment that improves the performance and the safety of the crew. MAIN SPECIFICATION​: Material: Aluminum Lenght: 11,2 mts.
