After MEYER TURKU had been commissioned to build yard number 429 in 1999, the Finnish shipyard delivered Ulysses in 2001. In terms of its vehicle capacity, Ulysses is one of the largest car and passenger ferries in the world – it can accommodate 1,342 cars and 2,000 passengers across four decks.
Ever since the vessel was commissioned, it’s been travelling back and forth between Dublin and the Welsh town of Holyhead. It began to sail under the flag of Cyprus in 2006.
