MD9903 WIRELESS DETECTOR MD9903 is an automatic wireless flame detector. The alarm condition is transmitted to the central unit in case of flame presence. It uses triple infrared technology to detect smokeless fires. Self diagnostic function generates fault condition in case of sensor failure or degradation. The radio module is included in the detector base MD9900-W. The detector has the same features of the wired one, but connected to the proper baseplate it is able to transmit its status by a wireless connection. For the wireless transmission a 6LowPan mesh network is used. Every flame detector in the network works also as router. The network is able to reconfigure itself in order to keep a redundant comunication path at any time. The évaluation process by triple IR sensor protect by a sapphire that also filter >6,0pm wavelength radiation: sensor A measures the hot carbon dioxide in a spécifie flame wavelength, the B and C sensors simultaneously measure the interférence radiation in near wavelengths. With intelligent signal processing through microprocessor and custom algorithms, the MD9902 detector achieves excellent détection reliability while maintaining the highest immunity to interférence radiation and sunlight. The waterproof aluminium housing contains the evaluating electronics components and also shields fromelectromagnetic interférence (EMI). This housing and the detector body with the Control Electronic inside, are potted by self extinguishingepoxy resin against dump environment in addition to increase mechanical strenght.
