The propeller shaft seal MTM902 was born to attack the market of medium/large boats and represents the product with the best value for money available on the world market. Thanks to its design, it is the most compact propeller shaft seal with an integrated safety barrier in the world. The stationary flange, provided for those who use flanged stern tube, is for standard in 316 stainless steel and can accommodate up to 6 radial holes (optional) in which it is possible to connect: an additional flushing, a temperature sensor, a vibration sensor (triaxial), a pressure sensor or a dedicated vent line. The size of the flange, the number, the center distance and the size of the set screws can be customized according to need. The stationary ring can be supplied in graphite resin (G) or in antimony graphite (G1) and is provided monolithic or inserted in a 316 stainless steel case. The rotating ring is connected to the propulsion shaft with a series of grub screws (up to diameter 100) or with a clamp (over diameter 100) and is available in 316, Duplex or Super Duplex stainless steel.
