The naval architecture firm that drew up the plans for the M.9 is Vincent Lebailly Yacht Design, a firm that has made a name for itself for the design of the Iguana, but also for autonomous and motorized floating houses. Based in Normandy, this firm is very innovative, and immediately became passionate about the M.9 project.
The shipyard is none other than the Chantier naval de la Passagère, a historic shipyard based in St Malo, and directed by Julien Reemers. Very innovative in its approach to construction, this shipyard knows how to build very marine boats.
As for the motorization, it is entrusted to one of the best manufacturers of electric motors in Europe. Totally maintenance-free, these motors offer a very high torque, and a very low power consumption, all without noise or vibration.
