All our ships are custom made to best meet our clients’ needs. Seaweeds and alga invade the coastline surface, and in huge quantities, they can be toxic for man and metals. In order to struggle against these seaweeds which invade our coasts, Navalu manufactures Seaweed Collector Ships for local authorities and for companies. Each ship is equipped with a netted harvest mat made of stainless steel, with a system for filtering and automatic seaweed recuperation on the deck. Certain companies will process the seaweed harvested as a 100% natural compost. This compost will then be transformed into plastic or used as a source for renewable energy. Navalu supports all environmental initiatives and would like to make this a kind of long-term aid to eliminate all pollution created by these seaweeds and alga.
