Type 4 – SOLAS compliant suitable for single rudder/dual pump systems using the NT851 STSS for Pump Selection, or, for Independent Rudder Systems using the NT851 STSS Rudder System Selection. Rudder Angle Indication (NT850 RAI), Analogue Heading Repeater (NT880 AHR) and Override facilities (NT850 OVSW) are included and the resultant system is suitable for vessels of all types (including high speed craft) to 3000GT (NT888G Autopilot) and above (NT999G Autopilot). Dims: 497 x 636 x 200 mm Cut Out: 448 x 588 mm Dual Independent Rudder Systems benefit from simple synchronisation of rudder positions (when required) via inclusion of the NT850 NFU and immediate Override control is available to the operator in any emergency situation via use of the NT850 OVSW. Steering Mode selection is via the NT850 STMS whilst Pump selection (single rudder) or Rudder System selection (dual rudders) is afforded by the NT851 STSS (as shown above) and together provide selection of the Rudder System to be used (No 1, No 2 or both) plus Pump Selection (single rudder system) to allocate/share duties/redundancy as required.
