OLEOPHILIC BRUSH, DISC or DRUM RECOVERY BANK x3 New Naval's ScorSkim 90 is an oleophilic, free-floating oil recovery skimmer designed for oil recovery operations in varying environments and scenarios, inclduing offshore conditions, with the capability to recover light to heavy oils. The 3 bank modular system can be quickly changed from brush, disc or drum recovery banks depending on the viscosity of the target oil and utilizes an integrated, onboard pump. Proven oleophilic technology allows the system to achieve recovery rates of up to 98%, <2% water content. The system is designed to be used offshore able to handle swells and rough seas by utilizing a stable core, the skimmer is also effective in operations from inland environments to nearshore applications. The skimmer is capable of recovery rates up to 90 m³/h The pump inclusive system is compact, taking up minimal space during operation and is easily carried The system disassembles when not in use for compact storage and transportation The skimmer is hydraulically driven with low power requirements and utilizes hydraulic quick-couplings that can be easily connected to a dedicated power pack or directly to the vessel’s hydraulic system when available The robust system is built with highly durable materials including a marine type aluminum frame making the skimmer highly resistant to oil, dispersants and seawater allowing fast, easy cleaning while decreasing maintenance
