NORDSHIP 430 DS
The Nordship 430 DS offers the unique opportunity to customise a 43ft (13.25m) deck saloon yacht with whatever style and layout works best for you, tailored to your needs. The extra volume within the hull gives her owner ample space beneath the deck saloon to create a large midships cabin or a workshop – or to increase the yacht’s already generous storage. Whether you want to accommodate two, four, six, or eight people we can advise you on a suitable layout to get the most from your yacht and fulfil your cruising aspirations.
Our most popular layout follows the Nordship tradition of having a spacious saloon in the raised deckhouse, with panoramic views out through the large windows. On this level we also have a navigation station that enables you to keep watch in cold weather and remain dry and warm while still keeping a good lookout. The galley is usually forward of the deck saloon, although we’ve also built these yachts with the galley below the cockpit, next to the entrance of the vast aft cabin.
As is always the case with Nordship, you get to choose the layout you want rather than making do with the one that’s easiest for the shipyard to make. If you want a longer galley, more headroom or longer berths, we’re happy to accommodate your wishes if space allows. What happens to the space under the deck saloon is again in your hands. It could be a spacious mid-cabin along with a heads compartment shared with the forecabin. Or you could just have a forward suite and a larger heads with a separate shower, leaving a huge amount of extra stowage space for your round-the-world voyage. There is no fixed layout, the choice is all yours.
