Description The 10.5 meter X10 RIB, has a modern deep V hull design that combines steep deadrise angles forward for soft entry when cutting into head seas, and a planing keel with deep chines for improved acceleration, speed and stability. Fitted with inboard diesel engines and either water-jet or stern drive propulsion, it can be used for operations in both coastal and riverine environments. Waterjets pro- vide exceptional maneuverability, and can stop the boat almost in its own length, and allow the boat to operate in extremely shallow areas. Deck hatches over the centrally or rear mounted engines provide an ideal platform for boarding and transfer operations. The console is ergonomically designed to allow the crew to operate the boat with maximum efficiency, and provides storage for equipment and combat communica- tions modules.
