The 9 axis E-COMPASS is a new generation inertial measurement unit featuring a GNSS receiver (GPS/GLONASS/etc.) coupled with a 9 axis AHRS unit providing 3D orientation by integrating gyroscopes and data fusing with accelerometers and magnetometers. The communication access is done through a serial RS232 NMEA protocol at user selected baud rates (4800-38400 typical); simply connect a Tx/Rx line with 5-28V power to the onboard socket. The module supports SIRF/UBLOX NMEA input & output, standard heading HDT and the NOVASAIL proprietary messages (user manual available in the downloads section).
