Unprecedented in its scale and nature, the revolutionary transformation of H3 at Oceanco’s facilities marked the first time a superyacht was recreated to face the future as new, contemporary vessel. Calling for passion, dedication and extraordinary craftsmanship, the work undertaken brought H3 into the future with contemporary standards in terms of technology, safety, capability and sustainability. With many involved in her creation contributing to her recreation, H3 emerged from her launch as a completely new Oceanco yacht. She displays a modern exterior aesthetic, including a new superstructure alongside a fresh interior by Reymond Langton Design. H3’s modernized operational profile is fully compliant with IMO Tier III standards. At a time when yachting is increasingly mindful of impact on the planet, bringing an existing superyacht up to date with contemporary standards can have as much, if not more, of a positive effect as a sustainable new build.
