Description

Product name : ORCA® GLUE Neoprene Glue Description: ORCA® GLUE Neoprene Adhesive is designed for bonding ORCA® fabrics. This polychloroprene adhesive is combined with an RFE hardener and an Ethyl Acetat-based primer, with Methyl Ethyl Keton solvent for exceptional adhesion. STEPS FOR USE : Preparation: Start by sanding both surfaces to be bonded to ensure better adhesion. Then apply MEK (methyl ethyl keton) to the prepared surfaces. Wait: Allow MEK to act for 10 minutes. Primer application: Apply the special primer to both surfaces to be bonded, using a cloth. Be careful not to use metal tools or pour the primer into metal containers. Allow to dry for at least 20 minutes. Mixing glue and hardener: Add 10% RFE to the glue. The pot life of the mixture is approximately 30 minutes. Glue application: Apply a first coat of glue to both prepared surfaces and wait 12-15 minutes. Then add a second coat of glue to both surfaces and wait a further 15 minutes. Pressing: Press the two surfaces firmly together using a cold press. Optimum Drying Time: Adhesive adhesion will be optimal within 48-72 hours of application. Applications: This product is specially formulated, tested and validated by ORCA. It is suitable for all types of boats and tenders. Note: This adhesive must be used in conjunction with ORCA Hypalon fabric for optimum results. Restore your boat's strength with confidence.
