The vessel is an F-class oil spillboat with dual diesel engines and jet propulsion. Its seawater-resistant aluminum structure (EN AW 5083 and EN AW 5754) incorporates longitudinal stiffeners and transverse arcs. Underneath, a robust rope and aluminum list protect the frame’s bottom, while its watertight compartments meet damage and leakage requirements.
The cab is elevated at the stern deck, while a hydraulic bow gate and crane are present at the bow. The oil collection system includes two moustax booms, hydraulically operated hatches, an oil channel, a LAMOR brush collector, and heated 4m3 oil tanks beneath the cargo cover. Oil transfer pumps move the collected oil to bags or towed containers. Nominal collection capacity: 150m3/h.
