First of two Perini Navi vessels bought by the same owner, and first time yacht buyer, S/Y Liberty, at 46.5m, was the third in the 46m series. The members of this Dutch family were all extremely tall, and to make life comfortable for them the main deck height was raised compared to other models of the same series: an example of the Perini Navi ability to customise and accommodate the owner’s wishes. The yacht is famous for its return trip from Hong Kong: there for the handover in July 1997, it was sold at a distance and travelled back, nonstop, to Viareggio.
