Description

The APBXL-series represents a modular series of buoys, designed for surface and sub-sea use. The buoys are designed to form a modular system and individual sections can therefore be added or, if necessary be removed from the assembly, to adapt to different buoyancy needs. Available with up to 10T buoyancy Rotomolded from 10 mm thick polyethylene (PE) and filled with polystyrene foam (EPS), polyurethane foam (PUR) or other materials depending on the application. The buoys are equipped with hot dip galvanized steel armatures, 4 full-length hot dip galvanized steel bolts and continuous chain through the center. The steel armatures and chain vary from application to application depending on whether it is for aquaculture or energy/offshore, and surface or subsea installations. Standard and custom solutions available. The buoys include an integrated fixture for light and different other equipment easily to be mounted. onfiguration for Aquaculture / Fish Farming Designed for surface use with polystyrene foam filling (EPS) and equipped with yellow daylight reflective tapes on all 4 sides. The buoys include an integrated pipe as part of the top disc, allowing for light and different other equipment easily to be mounted. Configuration for Offshore Energy and Subsea The APBXL buoys are produced with steel armatures for offshore applications, filled with polystyrene foam (EPS), polyurethane foam (PUR) or other materials depending on the application.
