Poralu Marine uses series 6005A T6, marine-grade corrosion-resistant aluminium, for all structures of fixed docks and boardwalks.
Our floating and fixed aluminium docks can have various decking options and materials, and we offer a wide range of colours. Our Ecostyle line of products is our standard line of polypropylene tiles. We also offer our Ecoteck product line which is a composite wood product, and also natural wood options for non-skid long-life decking.
Docks anchored on piles, offer exceptional performance and efficiencies for small, pleasure craft boats and marinas, as well as large marina facilities that welcome some of the world’s largest yachts. Regardless of site conditions, including extreme weather conditions, Poralu Marine docks anchored with piles perform exceptionally well.
Like the main jetties along the marina, fixed platforms or boardwalks installed at the edge of the harbour that surrounds the marina, offer solid and aesthetically pleasing pedestrian and experiences for the public, whilst also beautifully integrating with the design elements and the clean, sharp, look of the marina.
Poralu Marine engineered and built the fixed docks of Saint-Martin Marina in the West Indies. This marina is dedicated to super and mega yachts market, with yachts measuring up to 37 metres in length. When Hurricane Irma (a Category 5 hurricane) struck the island of Saint Martin, the Poralu Marine facilities and docks remained intact and operational. Thanks to the rigidity and resistance of the aluminium fixed docks, the marina could resume its activities before other sites.
