Description

The Quick Release Hook is a hook with a quick release mechanism that allows a vessel or ship to be quickly and safely released during towing operations. The release lever can be safely and remotely activated, either manually with a simple rope or with pneumatic or hydraulic systems, even from the bridge. It is also possible to equip them with dynamometers to monitor the working load in real-time. The working load of the towing hooks is usually related to the "static bollard pull" of the tug. We provide single, double, triple, or quadruple hooks, up to 200T SWL, with customized bases and configurations upon request.
