Last February we made the delivery and presentation of the new Q35 Explorer, another unit of the Explorer range of Quer Barcelona destined to reinforce the operations of the Rural Agents (services of preservation of marine fauna) of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
This boat is characterized by its cutting-edge technology and its great capacity to carry out operations in any weather conditions thanks to the technology of the QEFS bow, already characteristic of all the boats of the shipyard of Port de la Selva.
The Q35 Explorer is a 10.8-metre vessel powered by two 230 hp Volvo Penta D4 engines with twin DPI tails and the DuoProp propeller. The vessel is equipped with state-of-the-art technology including 3D sonar, radar, thermal camera and ROV (remotely operated underwater vehicle), which will substantially increase the efficiency and safety of operations. The cabin is made of carbon infusion and is of an anti-bacterial insulating type, providing greater safety and comfort for the professionals who use it.
