Model DD120DT is a three-phase cutting unit for textile, technical fabrics and composite material. Thanks to the double carbide counter-blade GRT12DT is able to cut on both directions (through an inverter). This peculiarity allows to save one run and so time in cross-cut process. DD120DT is part of new technology of Rasor Direct Drive range which see the knife installed on the same axis of the motor. DD120DT has no coupling gear which means no maintenance (i.e. the lubrication with grease) reducing therefore the operation cost. The knife can reach a speed of 2600 RPM so this tool comes perfect to work at very high speed during no-stop 24h/day cutting process. The combination of knife and counterblade assure a precise and sharp cut without scraps. The induction three-phase motor is balanced and silenced requiring no maintenance while assuring reliability for life. The 8-edges 120 mm knife allows a cutting thickness up to 50 mm even for multiple layers. DD120DT is especially designed for the transversal and no-stop cut and it is arranged with a anchor flange easy to be fitted on fixed or automatic stirrup. The base of DD120DT is Teflon® coated to reduce friction with the material and can be installed on sliding rails within a small space. The push button sharpening stone allows the sharpening of the knife edge to be done in less than 10 seconds without removing the knife. The limited maintenance, the low production cost and the bi-directional function make DD120DT the best reliable solution for any high speed O.E.M. application.
