The Reckmann UD is a below deck mounted hydraulic furling gear. Like all Reckmann hydraulic furlers, the UD has an emergency manual drive to be operated safely on deck level with a standard winch handle. The UD unit is is available with different means of attachment. By simply inserting a standard winch handle, the electric drive will disconnect and switch to manual operation. Halyard Swivel FS The Reckmann high-performance halyard swivels turn with extremely low amounts of friction, thereby guaranteeing a secure operation without twisting the halyard.
