Power pack size 1 is a small, extremely compact hydraulic unit with an anodised aluminium reservoir. By using anodised aluminium throughout we have achieved maximum corrosion resistance and a weight of only 37 kg (82 lbs) with two functions. The unit is suitable for controlling roller furlers, mast furling systems, foot outhauls and many different kinds of ramps, doors and platforms. Note however that this unit is not suitable for powering winches. In this case please select a more powerful unit from the Reckmann range (e.g. Power pack size 2). A maximum of 2 applications can be powered and with the exception of the combined function for furling mast and foot outhaul only one application can be controlled at any given time. Push button switches are optionally available. The oil level in the reservoir can be checked easily and at any time using a dipstick. The unit is supplied with 6 litres of hydraulic fluid. The suction line of the pump incorporates a filtering system, which protects valves and motors from contamination.
