Description

Sensor/transmitter 4-20 mA for TBM Explorer RTE gas sensor series permit to detect toxic gases in ATEX classified areas. RTE 1009 is a TBM gas sensor with range 0-50 mg/m3, it comes complete with a 4-20mA transmitter in a Exd enclosure. Transmitter PCB board has a local display for service operations and it also has a special circuitry for temperature variation compensation Main features Electrochemical cell technology Ex Aluminum Container for ¾” NPT cable gland For ATEX 94/9/EC security systems ATEX 94/9/EC INOX Steel Sensor Complete series of accessories Very good price-quality relationship Very fast response Applications TertButyl Mercaptan gas sensor, with ATEX approval, and 4-20 mA transmitter. ISSeP04ATEX036 - II 2GD - EEx d IIC T6 - IP 6X - T85°C - CE Toxic gas détection and oxygen is based on one electrochemical cell use. RTE Sériés Sensors permit the monitoring in continuous of these gas in Exd-classified Areas, and are supplied with a die-cast aluminium tin container according to the ATEX indications. RTS sériés sensors, on the contrary, can be used just in the safe areas. Some sensors are available just in this version; while regarding other different gas détections, you can use both solutions. The toxic gas détection is been in ppm (parts for million), while the oxygen concentration is shown in % volume. Regarding the oxygen, 2 different sensors are available: the classic sensor with range 0-30% vol.
