Sensor/transmitter 4-20 mA for Sulphur Dioxide Explorer RTS sensor series permit to detect toxic gases in safe areas. RTS 1002 is a Sulphur Dioxide (SO2) gas sensor with range 0-20 ppm, it comes complete with a 4-20mA transmitter in a Exd enclosure or alluminium case. Transmitter PCB board has a local display for service operations and it also has a special circuitry for temperature variation compensation. It must be installed in a safe area. Toxic gas détection and oxygen is based on one electrochemical cell use. RTE Sériés Sensors permit the monitoring in continuous of these gas in Exd-classified Areas, and are supplied with a die-cast aluminium tin container according to the ATEX indications. RTS sériés sensors, on the contrary, can be used just in the safe areas. Some sensors are available just in this version; while regarding other different gas détections, you can use both solutions. The toxic gas détection is been in ppm (parts for million), while the oxygen concentration is shown in % volume. Regarding the oxygen, 2 different sensors are available: the classic sensor with range 0-30% vol. and the KE-25 type sensor, for the oxygen measurements till 100% vol. in environments that are rich of carbon dioxide (CO2). The inner display, mounted on the transmitter PCB card, makes easy the check recurring procedures, the tests and the calibration, just through the 3 buttons use.
