MMC 887 MOD3 vessels are designed to meet highest operation demands with the most cost efficient solutions. The vessels shall be able to fulfill the general demands of the offshore industry as carriage of liquid mud, dry bulk, and special products like methanol, pipes and other general cargo on open deck of area 1000 m2. Vessels are designed for normal supply services between shore base, drilling sites and other ships, as well as for Firefighting (FiFi 1) and Oil Recovery operations.
MMC 887 MOD3 vessels will be equipped in Diesel – Electric power system enabling most cost efficient exploitation , reduction of fuel consumption and lower emission of NOx and SOx to the atmosphere.
Worth mentioning is the fact that REMONTOWA SHIPBUILDING S.A. is becoming the pioneer in building of Diesel-Electric powered, “Medium Voltage” vessels.
The vessels will have four Generating Sets, each of 1700 Kw / 4 160 V and will be equipped with Class 2 dynamic positioning system.
This makes MMC 887 MOD3 the vessels for world wide services.
The vessels are being built according to the project elaborated by MMC Ship Design & Marine Consulting Ltd from Gdynia / Poland.
