This model debuted in 2003 at a Stockholm yacht show to much acclaim. The Ridas 26 was designed by the well-known German naval architect Dieter Blank.
The idea behind the Ridas 26 is a modern, fast cruiser but one that is comfortable and with a lot of wood trim.
This model is meant for the young family who would like to buy, at low cost, a fast and comfortable yacht that is easy to handle and transport with minimal maintenance costs.
Thanks to a very modern hull, bulb keel and well-balanced helm, the Ridas 26 is also fast in competition with good and light maneuvering ability.
The hull is vacuum-resin-infused. The areas around the keel, engine, helm and seacocks are fully laminated. The outer skin is molded from isophtal acid resin for the best level of resistance to temperature and water.
The deck is vacuum-resin-infused and all high loaded areas of the deck are also fully laminated.
One large cabin and separate WC make the small ship a spacious one, with berths for four if the salon table is retracted.
Thanks to plastic modular floors and ceilings, maintenance is easy and convenient. The visible parts of the hull are covered with solid mahogany lists, which adds luxuriousness. Storage areas are under all seats and the large lockers on the starboard side of the stern mean extra supplies can be carried.
Ridas 26 has a CE - B certificate
