Mooring Winches RTG offers a range of mooring winches, these can be split into 2 main categories: 1. MOORING (multi winch lift applications) RTG can offer a range of mooring winches. These range 3Te to 75Te load capacity. Winches are designed robustly on a sacrificial sub frame. Supplied with or without level wind. Full DNV design approval and manufacture under survey can be offered on request. The RTG mooring winch range has generally 2 types I direct pull system, and traction winch. 2. MOORING (Subsea Moorings) RTG can offer supplied traction winches for installation and recovery of subsea moorings. Winches have been developed to handle and pass the chains and linkages safely, without damage, through the system. Clamping and stopper systems have been integrated into the winch system to ensure safe connection and disconnection operation. The traction winch barrel design allows the master link assembly to pass over it.
