Mini-bulker cargo ship Elke k.

We are proud to present to you RB5150 dwt mini bulker Elke K which we delivered to our new customer Alstership from Hamburg. She is part of the 5150 dwt Bodewes Eco Trader series, containing a distinctive energy-saving bow. The stem is straight with an upper slope, making her slice easily through the waves facing less resistance. The double hull design is characterized by the bulbless straight bow, with an almost vertical stem profile. Combining these ship features, results in improved seagoing characteriztics. After a successful sea trial on Tuesday September 29th, she was handed over Friday October 2nd 2020. Her maiden voyage was to Hamburg. Year build 2020
