FPSO offshore support vessel FLNG

Making an early entry tothe offshore plant market with FLNG FLNG (Floating LNG) is an offshore plant facility that drills, refines, liquefies, stores, and offloads LNG. Developing a gas field using FLNG is both environmentally friendly and economical, as there is no need to install undersea pipes or liquefaction facilities on land, which typically cost up to 2 trillion won. In 2009, Samsung Heavy Industries signed a contract with Royal Dutch Shell for the long-term supply of FLNGs. In 2011, Samsung Heavy Industries secured an order for Prelude FLNG and launched it successfully in November 2013. The 3-trillion-won ship is the world’s first and largest floating facility.
