SCAM DIESEL marine engine was developed by carefully choosing the base engine "KUBOTA" and using our years-long experience in engine marinization. The following has been achieved:

The new 3 valve per cylinder construction enables cleaner combustion and decreases fuel consumption. The MoS2 coated pistons enable optimal clearance between the piston and the cylinder.
SCAM DIESEL marine engines were designed to require minimal and simple maintenance. All elements for regular maintenance are easily accessible. The indirect cooling system with water and oil heat exchangers maintains optimal working temperature, which prolongs the engine’s operating life.
The new fuel injection system guarantees decreased fuel consumption and environment friendlier combustion. Every engine is standard equipped with necessary electrical installations, instrument panel and emergency shutdown. Flexible engine mounts, cable mounts with cable clamps for single lever control, oil cooler and oil drain pump are placed on all engines. There is a possibility of connecting the refrigerator compressor and hydraulic pump.
