It also helps to prevent the mechanism from freezing altogether, if the temperature drops below freezing.If operating in extremely cold climates the clear view screen can be delivered with a tubular heating element of 130 Watt. Clear View Screen is a rotating pane manufactured from seawater-resistant aluminium. The pane functions via its front part rotating at a high speed, thus centrifugally throwing the water away from the pane, making for a clear view, even in rough weather. If ordered, as an optional extra, the heating element will ensure, that the clear view screen does not fog up. Before the clear view screen can be mounted in a window, a hole needs to be drilled in it for the motor and 10 holes for the unit itself.
