Sea-Fire's new Heat Sensor alerts boat owners to dangerously high engine room temperatures. Intended for engine rooms for any size craft up to large yachts.
The enclosed model is designed to be mounted throughout the engine room compartment and set at 140°F (60°C), which is 35°F (19°C) lower than the system discharge temperature of 175°F (79°C).
These sensors indicate threatening temperatures and give boat owners a chance to stop impending fires. Simple to install, multiple sensors can be mounted into an engine room depending on desired sensitivity. The system is compatible with the full range of ESRS units, allowing shutdown override control and cylinder discharge notification.
