On board a boat, where a room usually has several uses, the use of a dimmer switch makes sense. This dimmer will allow you to vary the light intensity on board to adapt it to the desired atmosphere or to reduce power consumption.
This model with a remote switch is particularly suitable for renovating existing installations. Indeed, in this case, the power supply module can be placed on the power supply circuit of the lighting and the switch can be placed in a suitable location.
Function -
The power supply, which acts as a dimmer, has an input for the power supply and an output for the lighting. This power supply is controlled by a high frequency switch.
The high frequency switch has a base where it is held by a magnet system. It can be moved from its base if necessary.
It has an ergonomic system to adapt the lighting. By pressing it, it turns on or off the lighting. By turning it, it allows to reduce or increase the lighting intensity.
This system also has a memory and turns on again at the intensity level where it was turned off. The maximum distance between the transmitter and the receiver is 30 meters.
Voltage range - 10 to 30V (compatible with 12V and 24V installations)
Regulation method - PWM regulation (pulse modulation) to adapt the light level. This regulation requires the installation of a compatible lighting system.
Consumption - Depending on the desired brightness and the nominal power of the lighting to be supplied.
Power supply - The switch is powered by two AAA batteries supplied with the unit
Other - Two switches can be associated with the same receiver and the installation can have two independent switches
Compatibility - 12 or 24V installation
