The SV-BM1 camera mount provide the support required for stationary monitoring platforms. It’s 31″ (787mm) height allows a camera to be positioned between 5-30 inches (127-762mm) off of the bottom. The bottom mount is designed to be weighted and easily lowered into place or to be laid in place by a diver. Standard size weight belts are included to allow the tray to be weighted with readily available dive weights. The bottom tray also allows it to be easily weighted with sand or rocks from the local environment. 3 removable legs help increase the chances of a level placement as well as aid in the prevention of it from being shifted by the currents. The offset between the camera and the light helps to prevent backscatter caused by the light reflecting on particles in the water.
