The automatic battery isolators with very low voltage drop (or ‘very low drop’) or charge distributors allow you to recharge two or more batteries simultaneously by having one or two generators (see technical characteristics). Low voltage drop automatic battery isolators electrically separate each battery to prevent the higher charged battery from flowing into the more discharged one. During the recharging phase, the bench with the greatest need will be preferred. They have a light alloy casing (anodized aluminum), with large fins designed to effectively disperse heat. They are easy to install and protect the system upstream of the load. All our low voltage drop battery isolators have IP 685 protection degree. We remind you that battery isolators are called in this way on the market because they isolate electrically. Battery isolators are also called in other ways and for the following reasons. Our Battery Isolators have all these features but are also ‘Low Drop’. Isolators: isolate the batteries electrically; Separators: They separate the current in one direction only. Preferencers: Inherently deliver more charge to the lower battery. Distributors: They distribute the charge to several batteries. ‘Very Low Drop’ Isolators: Unlike normal battery isolators, ‘low drops’ have the characteristic of causing low voltage drops between the alternator and the battery.
