The all-new Blackbird WS Foil Board is our dedicated windsurfing foil board designed to fly at maximum speeds with an emphasis on control and performance. The compact shape targets the entire spectrum of windsurf foiling; from entry-level freeride to performance freeracing. The design features a user-friendly configuration with a generous volume that provides stability while floating and a platform to quickly pump the board into flight mode. The tail cut-outs give the board quick release and turbocharged acceleration before lifting onto the foil. This, in combination with a beveled nose to provide lift on occasional touch-downs for a smooth and forgiving glide. All the all the Blackbird WS is the ideal board for riders who want to get serious about foil windsurfing and push their abilities from zero to hero. This top-quality and technologically advanced high-spec Biax Carbon has a perfect weight-to-stiffness ratio due to its very fine weave and dynamic flex. For extreme stiffness, the bottom features 30 degrees Bias Carbon and PVC sandwich, and for strength, the deck features 45-degree Bias Carbon with double PVC sandwich for durability. For optimal load distribution and durability, the construction features a PVC stringer in the spine of the boards. The rails are reinforced with direction carbon to create optimal stiffness-to-weight ratio. We have shaved off every possible gram using a thinner layer of brushed paint. The artwork is applied with water-based tattoo stickers, very light-weight with beautiful bold colors. Even the non-slip has been reduced where it is not needed.
