Great contact, high manoeuvrability A mid-sized kayak for paddlers appreciating great contact, high manoeuvrability, stern tracking and a wind-cheating silhouette but who find Dex too small and Distance too big. Differ offers more packing space and carries more weight than Dex but with a slightly more v-shaped and narrow hull, making it more like Distance with regards to speed and tracking. Still happy to catch a wave. Differ is 535cm long and 51,5cm wide. It has the same highly appreciated deck layout as its two sister boats, Dex and Distance. It has three watertight compartments and is equipped with the Kajak-Sport skeg system. Available in three lay-up options Traditional lay up (TR) Polyester/Diolen and fiber glass, Extra Rigid (XR) Vinylester/carbon/Kevlar/glass fiber and diolen Carbon light (CL) hull of carbon fiber sandwich with diolen resin with a deck constructed in fiberglass and vinylester. Traditional lay-up is like the classic Skim yet with more reinforcement and therefore more rigid. Extra rigid is as expected even more rigid and nearly bomb proof. 
Carbon light has the same rigidness as the XR, but is by far the most lightweight lay up of the three. The Differ is prepared for use with a rudder, yet the rudder is an option.
