The RPX is built upon the longstanding Slingshot invention of the "Open C Canopy," which offers a flatter arc for extensive range, depower, and upwind ability, as well as accurate handling and energetic response. The RPX kite boasts several innovative features that set it apart from its RPM predecessor. A completely redesigned trailing edge has eliminated areas of turbulence, drag, and flutter, resulting in a smoother, more efficient ride. The kite also incorporates a new streamlined Fly-Line Bridle System with a diameter of just 1.6mm, which is 25% smaller than the previous version. This new system is stronger, lighter, and allows the kite to move through the air with less drag. The canopy of the RPX has been re-designed, with 88 fewer panels than the RPM, resulting in a significant reduction in weight and cleaner airflow. This unique combination of performance and comfort allows riders like world champion Carlos Mario to progress and perform at the highest levels.
