Our DDC’s come in a range of internal diameter of 1.5 metres up to 2.0 metres that comply with the latest International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) guidelines.

The SMP range of Diving Decompression Chambers are used to support diving operations and can be located either on a vessel or can be shore based.
Our chambers can be designed to be free standing or installed into a Container for ease of mobilisation. We can design and build diving decompression chambers and related equipment to meet your individual requirements. Our extensive range of optional add-ons and products ensure we can offer a comprehensive solution to all our clients.
SMP’s systems are currently in use on diving vessels, submarine transport vessels, salvage vessels and oceanographic research vessels. We specialise in deck decompression chambers, manufactured to exceptional quality standards.
DDC Options & Specifications
SMP’s chambers are available as standard in diameters of 1.5m, 1.8m and 2m. However, other sizes can be accommodated as required. Each chamber’s internal and external pneumatic outfits are finished to the highest standards, featuring stainless steel, brass and Tungum® alloy pipe work.
