AISI-329 H9 stainless steel marine shafts, thanks to their high quality material, have high durability and good resistance. Shafts are machined on the end of the propeller and include, propeller key, nut with anode and safety washer. Shafts are available in diameters from 25 up to 50 mm and 1:10 taper. AISI 329 steel offers mechanical properties that are superior to those of standard steel, allowing a smaller-diameter shaft capable of withstanding greater stresses. This is an advantage for ships that requires a bigger engine with more power without sacrificing the existing stern tube and propeller strut. This is a major saving forthe repowering of the boat.
