Data multiplexer Hermes

Hermes MM-A is a "state-of-the-art" hard-wired communications multiplexor for data transmission for up to 8 bi-directional channels over a single twisted pair. Data communication capability over the cable is 230kbaud or 115kbaud in RS485 mode. Communication with each sensor is up to 230kbaud in either RS232 or RS485. Hermes MM-A solves the problem of having more signals to transmit than twisted pairs and negates the problem of multiple copper umbilicals to the detriment of data acquisition and overall operational effectiveness. The system comprises a number of individual components which can be mixed and matched to suit the users application.
