GRINTEC® oil only absorbents for hydrocarbons are made of synthetic polypropylene fibers with a high absorption capacity, up to 20 times their own weight. Polypropylene absorbents are very safe because they are chemically inert. They have application in the industrial and marine field. For optimal performance against a spill, they are presented in different formats and types: SHEETS, ROLLS, PILLOWS, TUBULARS and MARINE BOOMS. Due to its hydrophobic property, it rejects water, which is why it is especially suitable for applications in aquifers, ports, and places where in the presence of water, a selective collection of oily waste is required.
