The inflatable containment booms have excellent wave tracking due to the high buoyancy of its inflatable chambers. For this reason, they are the ideal solution for the containment and / or dynamic collection of hydrocarbon spills on the open sea. The inflatable containment booms GRINTEC have independent and replaceable floats, being protected inside the boom for maximum reliability and resistance. They are manufactured in sections of 25 meters interconnectable whit ASTM or Norwegian connectors. Its stowage on reels optimizes its storage taking up little space and allows a rapid deployment of many meters of barrier with few personnel. Towing Equipment: The Towing system have been designed to guarantee a correct distribution of stresses in the booms when being towed by a boat. It favors the control of the booms during maneuvers. Anchoring equipment: It is an essential element for the installation of containment booms in unforeseen locations, either in ports or coasts. These equipments are dimensioned according to the type of boom. Tidal compensator: It is the device designed to keep the booms on the correct waterline regardless of the level of the tide in the sea, reservoirs, or places where water level changes occur. It must also ensure a good closure of the boom against the dock, so that in the event of a spill, the passage of hydrocarbon does not occur. Hydraulic reels: The reels are developed for the stowage of hydrocarbon containment booms, to achieve a quick and safe deployment and collection of the barriers. They are hydraulically actuated, so an operator, with little training, can carry out the operation.
