Sormec A-Frames are designed to perform offshore load handling (plough deployment), subsea load handling (anchor handling) and launch and recovery of special tools and equipment. Sormec designs a-frames both in electro-hydraulic and electrically–driven versions with a lifting capacity calculated according to customers needs. The crane structure is manufactured with steel plates, pipes duly shaped and electro. The support vertical legs are built in electro welded steel sheets and fitted with a hydraulic cylinders for lifting. The winch is founded on one of the A-frame’s deck foundation brackets and it is designed for lifting operations offshore.
