Designed and built for competitive racing and family cruising in the Mediterranean, the Spirit 100 Gaia epitomises her goddess namesake. Her long overhangs, low coachroof and flush decks give way to a large cockpit with sweeping Sipo mahogany coaming. Carbon spars, modern deck equipment, and performance sails (including customised spinnaker with a graphic drawn by the owner’s child) deliver speed on the water.
Down below, Gaia is as beautiful as she is above deck. Her styling is inspired by the owner’s love of contemporary New England interior design married with Scandinavian influences. Sweeping fan lights windows in the coach roof flood the central interior with natural light. An owner’s cabin with two large beds, dressing table and en suite shower, and two guest cabins sharing an en suite shower comprise the guest accommodation. An additional skipper’s cabin and crew cabin provide the option for professional crew to live aboard. A well equipped galley on the port side leads into a central saloon area with tan leather sofa and dining table, complemented by a discreet flat screen TV and surround sound music system throughout the yacht.
Gaia regularly competes in regattas and offshore races amongst cruising trips with family and friends.
