The fram is a user friendly and precise tool to estimate the biomass in the cage. How it works: The system includes a measuring frame, familiarisation frames, hand held terminal, access to our SACON Webportal and training. SACON provides a graphical representation showing the distribution of fish in weight classes. Data is stored per cage, location and company. By placing the frame properly in the cage a typically deviation of less than 2% is achieved relative to the harvest result. The frame hangs in a simple and robust suspension system, and measures a representative selection of fish. A communication unit on the hand rail gathers and transmits encrypted data to SACON Webportal for online presentation of data.
