X-MIST® SYSTEM extinguishes or ontrols fires by cooling, oxygen displacement by water vapor and radiant heat attenuation. The exceptional cooling effect of water mist is a result of the division of water into very fine droplets, which increase the total surface area available to absorb heat and maximizes the evaporation rate of the water.
