Description

The Targa 44 takes the Targa experience to the high seas and beyond. Featuring the classic Targa design with ample room both inside and out, it offers outstanding performance as well as unprecedented comfort and safety in all conditions - making this Targa perfect for the most adventurous offshore boating enthusiasts. "The Targa 42 is the result of an original idea that has become a complete boat range. Many have copied the concept but few come even close. With the Targa 42, Botnia Marin has got a real flagship that is comfortable as well as practical - suitable among icebergs and in burning sun." Launched in 2007, the Targa 44 is practically the same boat as the Targa 42, but with a modified transom for a longer waterline length and a larger engine room. The Targa 44 is also equipped with the revolutionary Volvo Penta IPS system, the perfect power source for the boat’s well-balanced hull. In 2009, the Targa 44 won the prestigious Motorboat of the Year Award. "If ever a boat deserved its billing as the "4x4 of the sea" then this is it. On test the new IPS-powered Targa 44 delivered 38 knots into a Force 6 with 11 people on board - more than enough to convince us that this was not only the clear winner of our Wheelhouse & Walkaround award but our favourite 4x4 by far." The Comfort Fore Cabin (CFC) layout features a raised fore deck with secure railing and easy movement. Inside, the CFC offers plenty of space, storage and head room. The large “island” style bed, the extra pipe berth and the second en-suite-toilet offer flexible sleeping accommodation on board
