It is based on lithium iron phosphate cells (LiFePO4), a technology that is safe and has the best performance/cost ratio, with integrated BMS to maintain the cells always equalized and efficient.

Transfluid is the first Company in the world to have obtained two DNV-GL Type Approval, one for the complete range of its marine parallel Hybrid Modules and one for its LiFePO4 Battery Banks. The TA regarding Batteries, includes the Norwegian Maritime Authority (NMA) extension, a more strict list of requirements making our batteries the most safe worldwide. The total absence of Carbon and Graphite, avoid the well known destructive event named “thermal runaway”, which is one of the most restrictive tests to obtain the DNV-GL and NMA approvals.
